That fact easily can be lost, since so many of today’s media stories focus on international adoptions. It also can make the issue seem far away, when it is not. Right now in Tampa Bay, thousands of children hope every night to be freed from an uncertain future and delivered into a secure and supportive environment. What could possibly be more important than that?

The Family Enrichment Center is the only minority-owned and operated child-placing agency in the Southeastern United States, providing care for 250-350 children every month. We provide the tools to help this area’s neediest families become stable and strong again.
